Hey, otaku! (That means 'obsessed fans' in Japanese) Did you know that you can see anime and check out manga at your local library?
Our Main Library anime club will be meeting this Thursday from 4 to 6 in the first floor auditorium! Anyone under 18 is welcome, but the anime we show is usually suitable for kids 12 or older. This month, we'll be showing 2 episodes of Ah! My Goddess: Flights of Fancy and 2 of UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie: Bride of Celestial Souls' Day. Fans are encouraged to bring artwork and fanfic to share with the group!
You can also see anime at North Durham, East Regional and Southwest branch libraries. Ask your friendly local librarian for times!
Our library has lots of copies of Naruto, Bleach and One Piece for checkout. Recently, we added Mar, Recast and Fruits Basket to our collection.
