Teen Read Week is almost here! From October 15 through October 20, get ready to celebrate @ DCL!

On Monday, visit Bragtown branch at 3 p.m. to see the anime masterpiece Spirited Away!

On Tuesday night, you can celebrate your Freedom to Read at Main Library! Students from DSA will be performing pieces inspired by a dozen dangerous books from 7 to 9 p.m.

On Wednesday, Stanford Warren Library is hosting a Poetry Slam at 7 p.m. Participants will be judged on creativity, authenticity of voice, persona and timelessness! Or you can visit Bragtown branch at 3 p.m. for a Wild Origami workshop.

Thursday, don't miss the grossest thing since Saw 3 --- Food Fear Factor at Bragtown at 3:30! After you finish snacking on bugs, come to Main Library for Anime Club at 4! Then if you feel inspired by anime, hit the Cartoon Drawing Contest at East Regional starting at 6:30!

Friday, hit East Regional branch for comedy board games from 4 to 5.

And all week, you can vote for YALSA's Teens' Top Ten Nominees, the only booklist created by teenagers for teenagers.

This is your week! Come on out to your local library and make a ruckus!
