Guess what? There is entire week of the year devoted to teenagers who read and it is NOW!!!! If you are a teen reader, give yourself mad props, big ups and a cookie.
This year's theme is Books with BITE! If you're hungry for something cute AND delicious, don't miss our Sweet Eats program at your local branch. You can decorate and then devour candy sushi and artsy deserts at East Regional on Tuesday at 3:30; at North Durham on Wednesday at 1:00; at Bragtown on Wednesday at 3:30 and at Southwest on Thursday at 4:00.
Vote for your favorite books of the year HERE. The nominees are chosen by teen reading groups from libraries all over the country. The winners will be part of a list that goes out to libraries to make sure we buy books young people actually like. What a concept!
